• relaxing music
• healthy snacks

• eyeglasses or contacts
• watch or clock with a second hand

Hospital Suitcase:

• nightgown
• bathrobe
• slippers
• nursing bra
• nursing pads
• underwear
• loose clothing to wear when you go home
• baby's clothes, including booties or socks
• mittens or round tipped scissors for baby's nails
• receiving blanket
• outside blanket and cap for the baby
• CAR SEAT - properly installed
• breast pump
• personal grooming supplies
• washcloths
• bottles and formula if you plan on bottle feeding
