Dr Grace Holub grew up in a family of seven. “I always felt wonder at the process of pregnancy, birth and babies. In fact, I went to school specifically to be an obstetrician”. Dr Holub attended University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. She completed her residency at Wayne State University and Providence Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She has lived in Colorado since 2000 and is a Board-Certified OB/GYN. She delivers babies in a family-centered environment, and also performs gynecologic surgery.
Dr Holub enjoys that medicine is always evolving. “I love that women are taking more ownership of their own health,” she says. She feels her highest mission as a doctor is first and foremost to help people, sometimes through guiding them in making healthcare decisions, and sometimes by just listening. She feels most fulfilled when patients see her as a partner in the decision-making process. She brings a commitment to honest and open communication with her patients and especially honors their individuality. She loves the long-term relationships integral to a private medical practice and enjoys the challenge of her office hours when the only certainty is that the day’s schedule will bear little resemblance to what actually happens.
Dr. Holub is an avid ballroom dancer. When she’s not on the dance floor, she enjoys exploring the topics, sailing, and scuba diving. She also enjoys the great skiing and outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. Colorado has become her home and she could not imagine living anywhere better!
